all the things totes: it’s not a quilt but it’s just as fun to make

Before setting off for QuiltCon, I decided to channel my sewing energy into creating two fabulous All the Things Tote, and let me tell you, I'm absolutely thrilled with how they turned out. Kaityln's pattern proved to be a joy to work with—fun, easy, and incredibly practical. As someone who loves a good tote bag, I couldn't wait to put these beauties to use.

My Tula Pink tote quickly became my go-to carry-on bag for the trip. With its vibrant colors and spacious design, it was the perfect companion for storing all my travel essentials while jetting off to Raleigh. Not only did it add a pop of color to my travel ensemble, but it also kept everything neatly organized and easily accessible throughout the journey.

Meanwhile, my patchwork tote stole the show as my trusty companion for exploring the local sights and sounds around QuiltCon. It was so great to have this versatile tote with me it effortlessly carried my belongings with style and flair!

Making these bags reminded me of the sheer joy that comes from creating something both beautiful and functional. Whether it's a meticulously pieced quilt or a stylish tote bag, each project holds its own unique magic and brings me immense satisfaction. What have you been working on lately? Quilted bags, quilts, something else?
