EPP hexies and baby turtles!!

I took my Hexie Flowers EPP project to the beach with my family last week and was finally able to sew some of the blocks together!! I took me forever to sew each of the blocks but I know that I will get faster with time.

I was even able to sew together this fun Sea Turtle block while we were there. Every year we see the Momma Sea Turtles nesting at night but this year we were able to see a few baby turtles headed back out to the ocean!! It was so incredibly cool and I love that I have this block to remember this experience with my boys :)
