jelly vinyl delight: crafting a durable back-to-school pouch

Ever dabbled in Jelly Vinyl? I was introduced to it back in March at retreat when a bunch of friends were having a blast with it. I’ve been dying to try it out since. So when Remy asked me to make his pencil pouch for back to school I knew exactly what I wanted to make it out of.

Let's talk durability – we all know the crayons, markers, and who knows what else that ends up in those pouches. I'm crossing my fingers that this Jelly Vinyl pouch holds up even better than fabric. Remy's got a thing for aqua and teal, which, let's be honest, is totally my jam! I used Center Street Quilts pattern for the Holland Pouch and just adjusted the size a bit and it turned out so great!

But you know what took the cake? The enormous hug Remy gave me when I handed over his bag. He was so excited and that was the absolute best part of the project.
