last minute scramble to pack for quiltcon 2023

Calling all QuiltCon enthusiasts! Are you currently caught up in a whirlwind of last-minute preparations, trying to check off all those to-do's and pack your essentials? Rest assured, you're not alone—I'm right there with you!

As QuiltCon date draws near, I found myself diving into a flurry of tasks. Amidst the chaos, I managed to find a moment of creativity and craftiness. I whipped up these fabulous lanyards using scraps from my trusty scrap bins. Let's face it, wearing the generic lanyards they provide at QuiltCon just wouldn't do justice to my unique Quilty style, right?

The beauty of easy projects like these is that they allow me to have a quick finish. I haven’t sewn since last September and it felt so good to just reconnect with my machine again. Have you experienced those spells where life keeps us away from our sewing passions?

Also, packing-procrastination related… any guesses on what I am making with this lovely stack of fabric? It’s something bright, colorful and a full on KP Rainbow. Can’t wait to show you when I am finished. You could come by the booth at QuiltCon and I will have it with me so you could see it :)
