making time for me this summer

While the boys were home over the summer my time was not my own. We spent days at the beach and the pool, played games, drew together, I also made a lot of food (feeding four boys is no joke!) and played referee a more than a few times. I am not at all complaining, I love the boys being home, but it does take a mindset shift to get used to.

In the past this has meant that I have had less time to create however, I was pretty deliberate this year to carve out some time for myself because it’s important. I drew often, painted a bit and even started my sewing my EPP Project. My hexie project was perfect for fitting in there and there. My progress has been slow but it has been fun to work on!!! Seven Hexies down only a million more to go ;)
