range quilt in the wild
While we were in Canada, we attended my cousin's wedding. It was a beautiful day at a picturesque venue and we were so happy to be surrounded by family celebrating such a lovely couple. Our boys danced the night away and we all had so much fun. Riley and Addi both love spending time outside so I couldn’t resist using @modernhandcraft pattern to make a Range QUilt for them as their wedding gift. I choose hues of blue and grey to match their wedding colors along with a beautiful Rifle Paper Co floral for the backing and binding- Addi loves Rifle Paper Co (their invitations were from there too!) Hope they like it as much as I enjoyed making it.
I couldn't resist taking a photo of it in the mountains while we were there because well why wouldn't I? The scenery is breathtaking!!
I was so pleased with how the colors for this Quilt turned out. If you would like to make one of your own here’s the info. All of these fabrics were pulled from my stash—kind of crazy, right?! The unfortunate part is that I haven't always labeled my solid fabrics, so I have no idea what one of them is😬🙈. The middle green color (fourth from the top) is the only mystery fabric, but here are the rest from darkest to lightest:
Cotton Supreme Solid in Navy
Cotton Couture in Celestial
Cotton Couture in Slate
Cotton Supreme Solid in Meissen Blue
Cotton Supreme Solid in Notting Hill
Cotton Supreme Solid in Iceberg
Kona Cotton Solid in Haze
