slow and steady

I should have learned by now but every year I am always surprised how busy the beginning of the school year is. Throw in a few Hurricane days, work and wedding travel, kids home sick, and well it’s just been busy over here!

I haven’t gotten nearly the amount of work that I have wanted to do done. And while my first thought is to be disappointed I am trying to remind myself to slow down and accept that I am doing my best and that is all I can ask for. Slow and steady is just as good if not better than doing all of the things all of the time.
